2004 NORTH EAST WOMAN ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR - Runner up
In a sell out presentation evening the Hilton Hotel in Newcastle saw the North East region's women entrepreneurs recognised for their achievments. 
A record number of female entrepreneurs gathered on Friday 19th November to see Jackie Peddie receive the award for the North East Woman Entrepreneur of the Year 2004 and Maureen Stanton, Managing Director of On-Net-Communications recieve runner-up in the Best Rural Woman Entrepreneur.
The Awards dinner, which was hosted and organised by Women Into the Network, sponsored by Business Link and One North East and compered by Julia Hankin of BBC Radio Newcastle, saw over 420 people walk up the red carpet and attend our flagship event of the year.
